Reigning African Women’s High Jump champion, Rose Amoanemaah Yeboah, failed to progress to the finals in the Women’s High Jump in the 2024 Olympic Games. Making her debut as well as becoming the first Ghanaian female high jumper to compete at the Olympics, she qualified from the prelims on the third attempt. Rose, initially, failed the first two before clearing the 1.88m on the third attempt to progress to the next round. However, after yet another three attempts, the Ghanaian rising star failed to clear the 1.92m and make it to the final. She eventually finished 14th, narrowly missing out…
