NDC Manifesto is a “Second hand” Manifesto, says Chairman Wontumi

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has laughed at the National Democratic Congress (NDC)and its flagbearer, John Mahama, for releasing a manifesto that he describes as “second-hand”.

According to Chairman Wontumi, the NDC’s manifesto lacks originality and is a mere copycat of previous manifesto which he couldn’t implement during his administration.

He accused the NDC of failing to come up with innovative ideas to address the country’s challenges.

“The NDC’s manifesto is a second-hand Manifesto. It offers nothing new,”

In an interview with Ejisu based Okese FM, Chairman Wontumi said, “They have simply rehashed promises and failed to provide a clear vision for Ghana’s future.”

He admitted that his government (NPP) has not done it all but at least far better than the NDC and deserves another term to do better.

However, Chairman Wontumi remains unimpressed, saying that, Mahama’s track record in government shows that the NDC under his leadership, lacks the capacity to deliver on their promises.

“Mahama has had the opportunity to govern this country before, and he failed miserably, Why should we trust him again with a second-hand manifesto that lacks originality and innovation?”

He called on the good people of Ghana to critically consider the return of Candidate Mahama as a threat to Free SHS and other policies of the NPP.
