Kudus Responds to Claims Amid Arsenal Transfer Speculation – Ajax’s forward Mohammed Kudus, has delivered a fiery response after a social media account claimed that his representatives caused a proposed transfer to Brighton to fall through.
The Ghanaian international, aged 23, appeared to be on the verge of a Premier League move this summer when Brighton reportedly reached a preliminary agreement for his signing, at an estimated cost of £34.5 million.

Kudus, who joined Ajax three years ago, made a notable appearance in the season’s curtain-raiser against Heracles Almelo, scoring for the Eredivisie champions and playing the full 90 minutes. Although focusing on his game, Kudus has been drawn into discussions about his future, particularly in light of recent social media interactions.
An Ajax-focused social media account (@TheEuropeanLad) shared transfer-related information suggesting that no club had met the demands of Kudus’s representatives this summer. The account also alluded to frustration from Brighton due to perceived changes in negotiation terms.
Kudus, in response to this post, used an emoji and the initials “BS!” to convey his disagreement. While @TheEuropeanLad has deleted the original content, Kudus’s retort remains accessible on the social media platform X.
Starting his football journey in Ghana, Kudus moved to Danish club Nordsjaelland on a free transfer before the 2018/2019 season. After impressing there, Ajax acquired his services for €9 million. Since then, Kudus has played 85 games for Ajax, contributing 24 goals and 11 assists.
During his time at Ajax, Kudus secured consecutive Eredivisie titles under the guidance of manager Erik ten Hag, now leading Manchester United.
